Welcome, welcome to Anime-fantasy FC's first day! This is the place for those anime and fantasy lovers to worship and honor their favorite mythology creatures and anime characters all in one place. If you love either, indulge yourself in their escapeful realms, then this is the place for you.

Joining A/FFC

Credentials - Joining A/FFC is easy. The only requirments are: You must love either anime or fantasy. And have a general love/respect for your fellow anime/fantasy lovers. This is a club dedicated to all of you with a passion for either the mythology legend, or the anime legacy. You don't have to have art of either... (But I suspect with such a broad definition, I am sure there will be something anime/fantasy in your gallery ) However, if you do, or want something faved, just note the club with the link and your request. I will then go from there.

Becoming a member - To gain your place in the club's loyal hall... You need to send a note to the club with a title relating to joining and which group you wish to be in. The groups are: Anime worshipers, Fantasy followers, and Diverse passioners. Just pick which group you want to be a part of, and state which one in your note to the club. We will then add your icon to the specific group in the journal.

The groups really don't have a specific effect in your club membership, it's just a more offical way of showing which type of genere you prefer.

After joining - After you receive conformation of your membership... Just add the A/FFC icon to your journal just like this: : iconanime-fantasy : without the spaces, and you should get this:

It's as simple as that.

Updated news

Sinking deeper into misery, I watch my soul become lost. Walking among his world alone, I realize there is no hope. Time unravels truth, but none which I can bear. I fear the end is near, my candle has waxed its lowest...

Ugnh. I know I've been absent, AGAIN. But my life has become a wreck since my last update. *Blinku* Causing me to steep deeper and deeper from this club, my boards, even sites and places I frequent because I seemed to slip into what I call myself; one mass of dark, heaped on misery. And just recently, I've experienced something that would cause even the most prestigious person to fall. I know I sound very angsty and depression... Well because I am. But I am trying my best to maintain some weight here. It's a struggle, but there is effort.

I know I still need to pick a winner among the entrants for final decision. It's just that my life's been a wreck the last few weeks and Hou seems to have disappeared. So, I am not sure when I'll get around to doing that. But, hopefully it will be sometime today. As soon as I get back from a friend's house, I should have time to make a final decision.

Well. Hopefully you'll see a hell of a lot more of me. It's struggle with this wacked up life I am living. But I am managing. But, expect to see more of my dreary poems at the beginning. It's just how my mood goes. But, celst la vie. We're all strange. Teehee.

Just an update regarding my LiveJournal. I recently encountered a problem that is now causing me to privacy lock my LJ. Someone whom I did not want to have knowledge of my LJ has invaded it and is now spreading lies from it's contents. Because of this, if you are not on my friends list, you can view the entries not made public. Though, I will make public the entries concerning DA and things I don't mind publicizing. But beyond that. I am not allowing anyone not on my friends list view stuff IO don't want widely broadcasted.

Oh and... TOMMOROW IS MY BIRTHDAY!! w00t w00t! I will be twenty five tomorrow! It's kinda big for me... So... I may not be around on that day. I am hoping to be lifing it up! :bouncing:

OMFG!!! *Just DIES* I am completely SORRY everyone that I have been away for so long! >_> I was dealing with some personal problems. Ones that occupied my mind to the extent that most of my net endevours took a beating as well. I've been dealing with a bit of depression and worry. Not to mention that there was someone I dearly took a shining to that I later found out did some... Rather unsavory things to me. Lying was one. Which added more to my hightened stress and caused me to regress a bit more. I spend most of my time moping around Furcadia or talking with those few on AIM. I've even neglected my own account. I haven't updated in about a month. And this one dragon pic I am working on hasn't been touched since I made my last Furc avatar.

I've even opened up a Live Journal account due to my past experiences. To fully grasp why I was away: I will post my LJ account here. Not that I am trying to promote anything. But, if I type out the full details here... I am sure I will suck out a page or more. Not something I wish to do at the moment. Read the first 5-6 enties to get the story. Everything above is not really connected with my absence.

Now. As for the contest results. Seems that Hou has not been on for as long as I have, and during that time, the contest results have faltered. As per this problem. I will myself decide on a winner tomorrow since it seems that Hou has not made any action in a final judgement. So, check this space within the next two days to see who the top three winners will be.

I will now move on to update the journal and members. I can see I may be here half the night updating all my clubs and R/P boards. But I feel now that I am established enough that I should be able to maintain this board once again. I've sovled my problems to a great extent. In which. Much tension has been relieved.

Also... We're over 50 members now! WHOOOO! I didn't think this club would gain much attention, but I have to say I am surprised. And deeply grateful. I want to formally decree that I am GREATLY apprecitive for everyone's membership and places among this majectic club. I could not make it anything without all of you!

Let's define procrastination:

A new site I just came accross. It's in reflection of EverQuest and is even more immense and crowed then the most famous on-line RPG. Furcadia.com has captured my fancy. A wonderous envroment that consists of animal-like anthro characters, unlike EverQuest, where you interact with other players in real time, you don't have the missions and battles. In the main root towns, you have what is called sub-worlds, or dreams. In these, the envroment is different, depending on the person, creater, and layout. Furcadia is built around us, the players, as the players create the sub-worlds, or dreams.

It's such an immense game, that you could not explore the entire envroment in merely one day. I have been playing for three, and have barely scratched the surrface.

You have a few main character species class selections. Equine, feline, canine, musteline, lapine and rodent. There are also dragon, gryffin and phoenix classes, but the last three have to be brought. Yes. With money. The game itself is free, but of you want a species besides the basic, you pay. There is options to adorn your character with fairy and feathered wings, but as before with the dragon and griffin classes, you have to buy them. I did equipe one of my characters with tricolored wings, which was 20 some odd dollars for a year. So, this can tell you what to expect.

As with EverQuest, you customize your character. Down from chothing and eye color, to skin, markings and hair. You can even pick the gender, as well as a designated name. There is also an optional DESC, or your profile, which is seen when someone clicks on your character. As you move about Furcadia, you get to see each player you click on, profile pic as well as bio. It's a very neat addition.

Along with the customizable characters, the world runs in real life chat. Consider it like one huge chat room. You even have private chat places so the general public doesn't see your convo, or you can even whisper to someone in particular that only you and the person you are convaying the words with, see.

This world is so immense, and broad, it would take ages to explain. But anyone who loves on-line RPGing would love furcadia. Especially if you have had a taste of EverQuest. It's definitely worth a look. If anyone joins, my character names are Kiara-Ushio and Reeaka. Whisper to me if you wish to say hello, which is coded by typing: /Reeaka or /Kiara use a space, (Then type the message) and hit enter. If I am on and not busy, I will reply. ^^;;

Hello everyone. Keltic here with an update. I've decided to try and expan the abilities of my clubs and have taken into acord, the derivement of personal message boards. Since I co-run a zelda-related club on DA, I created a personlized message board so people can go to post, r/p get real life help, shair multimedia secrets and more. Since not to many people have caught on to the new addition for ZFH, I am also alotting Anime Fantasy usage of the board. It's not slated just for Zelda freaks alone, but for anyone into message forum going.
